Roll up your sleeves and make a difference! Join the Loyola and Tulane World Cleanup Day event and help us make Carrollton shine. Everyone is invited to participate in this annual cleanup event that takes place during the fall semester.
The Results Are in for World Cleanup Day 2024
The World Cleanup Day Team wants to extend a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for your participation in World Cleanup Day! Your enthusiasm and commitment to cleaning up our environment made a significant impact in our community. 198 participants were able to collect 384 lbs. of litter from the Carrollton neighborhood. Together, we demonstrated the power of teamwork and showed that small actions can lead to big changes. Whether you picked up litter, volunteered to serve, or inspired others to join in, your efforts truly made a difference. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue to advocate for a cleaner, healthier planet. Be on the lookout for more participation in the next community cleanup, and more environmental based events, during the Loyola University Earth Week from April 22nd through 25th!
