If you are a new student or a continuing student interested in Pre-Health, make an appointment with Loyola's pre-health advisor to discuss your pre-health goals and to be added to the roster of pre-health students.
Stay Connected
Plan to Meet Regularly with the Pre-Health Advisor
After your initial pre-health advising appointment, plan to check in with your pre-health regularly, ideally twice per semester, to share updates and get advice on the next steps of your pre-health path.
Submit an Intent to Apply Form
Completed the Fall Semester Before You Apply
Once you've completed all (or most) of your required pre-health courses, be sure to complete the Intent to Apply form. This form is available from October to January and should be completed the fall semester before you intend to apply to health professional school. Completion of this form is required for students seeking a committee letter from the PHPC for their application to medical or dental schools.

Pre-Health Post-Baccalaureate
Loyola's Pre-Health Post-Baccalaureate Certificate is designed to support recent graduates and career changers with a bachelor’s degree who have a drive and passion for a health-science career, but lack the courses required for entry into their program of choice.
